CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) honors Kyle Richardson and Caysea Cohen as the men's and women's basketball players of the week. 

Men's Basketball Player of the Week - Kyle Richardson (SR)  
Plattsburgh, Forward (Baldwin, N.Y./Baldwin HS)
Kyle Richardson keyed the Cardinals to a 2-0 weekend in Miami at the HoopMIA D3 Holiday Shootout. On Saturday against Stevenson, the senior put up 21 points to go along with a game-high 15 rebounds. Richardson showed his dominance early in Sunday's game against UMass Dartmouth, scoring 22 points in the first half alone on 9-of-11 shooting. He would finish the afternoon with 26 points and 10 rebounds as the Cardinals went on to win, 99-95. Richardson collected his fifth double-double in eight games played thus far.
 
Women's Basketball Player of the Week - Caysea Cohen (SR)  
Cortland, Guard (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville)
Caysea Cohen led Cortland with 15 points, four assists and six steals in a 62-52 win over SUNY Polytechnic on Saturday.
