SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Brockport's Jennifer Metz and Sarah Crockett have been recognized as the SUNYAC Women's Indoort Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

With a 3:06.71, Metz won the 1,000-meter race at the Nazareth Alumni Opener. Her time was good for the sixth fastest time in program history.

Crockett led a group of four Top-5 shot put throwers from Brockport. Her first place throw of 12.72 meters set the standard on the day. Crockett was back in the spotlight in the weight throw with a personal-record mark of 16.09 meters to take second in the event.
