SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has named teammates Jennifer Metz and Sarah Crockett from Brockport the Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Metz hit the regional qualifying standard individually in the 800-meter and as a member of the 4x400 relay team this past weekend. She ran a 2:20.24 to place second in the 800-meter race. Then she was part of the relay squad that took first with a time of 4:04.38.

Crockett earns SUNYAC weekly honors for the fourth time this season after she took first place in both the shot put and weight throw for the Golden Eagles at their home meet this past weekend. She threw a first-place distance of 13.29 meters in the shot put. Crockett maintained her strong showing with a 16.67 meter throw to win the weight throw.
