SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC selects Potsdam's Danielle Moscarello as the Softball Athlete of the Week and Brockport's Kendall Phillips the Pitcher of the Week.

Moscarello went a perfect 5-for-5 in two shutout victories over SUNY Cobleskill last week. The junior also recorded two runs, three RBI, and a stolen base to compliment her hitting statistics. Moscarello tallied five putouts in the centerfield position.

Phillips pitched in four games this past week, pitching a total of 11.2 innings to earn a 2-0 mark for the week. She picked up the win against Houghton with 4.0 innings of work with five strikeouts and no runs allowed. Starting in what became another win over Nazareth, she went 6.0 innings. During the contest she set a new career-high with 13 strikeouts. Phillips totaled 20 strikeouts for the week, allowing 11 earned runs on nine hits in total.
