ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Cortland won the 2023 SUNYAC men's wrestling championships Saturday at the Gordon Field House on the campus of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Ithaca was second while RIT was third.

Outstanding Wrestler of the Meet
Cortland senior Jayden Cardenas was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the Meet after winning the 133 lbs weight class.
Elite 20
The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
The 2023 men's wrestling Elite 20 award winner is Oneonta's Anderson Klosner, a junior adolescence education social studies major with a 3.90 overall GPA.
