SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Oneonta's Brianna Shaw and Sophia Schutte have been named SUNYAC Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week and Doubles Team of the Week.

Shaw helped Oneonta to a 2-0 week with two victories on the No. 4 singles court. In both wins, Shaw did not drop a game. On Friday she defeated her counterpart from Houghton with a double bagel, 6-0, 6-0 before traveling the next day to defeat Farmingdale's MacKenzie Gisler, 6-0, 6-0.

Schutte and Shaw helped Oneonta to a 2-0 week with two victories on the No. 2 doubles court. Schutte and Shaw defeated Houghton's No. 2 doubles team 8-3 Friday. The following day, the duo beat Farmingdale's MacKenzie Gisler and Amanda Jones, who were 4-0 entering the match, 8-2.
