BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - New Paltz defeated Oneonta, 5-0, to win its eighth overall SUNYAC women's tennis title, Saturday at the Binghamton Tennis Center. With the win, the Hawks earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament.
Justine Stanejko was named the Tournament MVP after winning both her doubles matches. Although her singles matches were unfinished, she won two sets and was ahead when her team earned five match wins for the team win on Friday and Saturday.
