SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC selected Cortland's Emma Madigan as the Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week while teammates Isabella Bonapace and Emily Morano were tabbe the Doubles Team of the Week.

Madigan posted a 4-0 singles record during the week for the Red Dragons to improve to 7-1 on the season. She opened the week with a 7-5, 6-2 win at fifth singles at Misericordia on Tuesday. Madigan then dominated three matches at sixth singles, losing only three games in the process. She won 6-0, 6-0 versus Oneonta Thursday, 6-0, 6-1 at Geneseo Saturday, and 6-1, 6-1 versus Farmingdale State Sunday. The win at Geneseo helped Cortland earn its first team victory over the Knights in 17 years.

Bonapace and Morano won all three of their matches at third doubles during the week. They won 8-3 versus Oneonta Thursday, 8-1 at Geneseo Saturday and 8-2 versus Farmingdale State Sunday. Bonapace also won a third doubles match, 8-4, with another doubles partner at Misericordia to start the week. Bonapace and Morano are 5-2 as a doubles tandem this fall. Their win at Geneseo earned Cortland its first team victory over the Knights in 17 years.
