SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC recognizes New Paltz's Onalee Batcheller as the Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week and teammates Isabel van der Veen and Alex Chimenti as the Doubles Team of the Week. 

Batcheller played well all weekend, nearly narrowly sneaking out a win against DI St. Thomas Aquinas, falling 5-7, 4-7, before helping the Hawks to a huge regional 7-2 win over RIT, winning her second singles matchup handily, 6-0, 6-3.

The duo team of van der Veen and Chimenti had a hard fought match at third doubles against DI St. Thomas Aquinas Friday, falling 8-6, but bounced back with an 8-3 win in a huge regional victory over RIT Saturday, 7-2.
