SYRACUSE, NY – Brockport junior Eliza Gonzalez has been named the SUNYAC Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week while The Plattsburgh junior tandem of Nicole Svantner and Samantha Svantner has been named the Doubles Team of the Week.
Gonzalez posted a 1-1 weekend at first singles, winning her match against Houghton 6-1, 6-3.
The Svantner team posted a third doubles victory over the weekend for Plattsburgh after defeating their counterparts from Farmingdale State 6-3 on Saturday, Sept. 3.
