CORTLAND, N.Y.- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected its first 2017 women's cross country athlete of the week. Jasmine Roberts of Plattsburgh was chosen as this week's top athlete.

Roberts, a Freshman from Albany, ran an 18:21.3 in the Kinetic Running Cardinal Classic this past weekend.  Her efforts garnered a first place finish in the competition, as she ran a 5:55 pace over the five-kilometer course.
