Plattsburgh's Cray and Feeley named SUNYAC Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week

Cortland, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected two Plattsburgh State Cardinals as this week's Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week. Sophomore forward, Sean Cray, has been chosen as Offensive Athlete of the Week, and sophomore goalkeeper, Patrick Feeley, has been selected as Defensive Athlete of the Week. The teammates helped lead Plattsburgh to a 2-0 record for the week as they beat St. Lawrence for the first time since 2008, 3-1, and began conference play with a 3-0 shutout over Potsdam.

Cray had two goals and two assists, tallying six points for the Cardinals. The sophomore scored a goal and added an assist against St. Lawrence on Wednesday, as well as recording a goal and an assist in the team's victory over Potsdam in their SUNYAC opener.

Feeley made six saves while posting a 0.50 goals-against average and a .857 save percentage for the week. His play against St. Lawrence was remarkable, recording 5 of those 6 saves in the win and then continued to shine on Saturday by keeping Potsdam off the scoreboard to record the shutout.
