CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Geneseo's Sean McAneny as the Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. This is the second week in a row that a Knight has won the award.

McAneny, a Greenville native, turned in an excellent performance this past weekend. The sophomore runner finished second out of 238 competitors at the Mike Woods Invitational in Geneseo. With a time of 25:01.1, McAneny led the Knights to a first place finish out of eighteen competing teams, including Oneonta, Brockport, and Fredonia.

The Knights are ranked number two in the nation and look to battle for the top spot in coming weeks.
