Plattsburgh men’s basketball coach Tom Curle and Cortland’s women’s coach Jeanette Mosher have been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference Coaches of the Year.

 

 Curle was named Coach of the Year for the third time while at Plattsburgh (other times: 2006-07 and 2007-08). He led Plattsburgh to the SUNYAC championship with a record of 21-7, 13-5. The Cardinals will host SUNYIT in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament on Saturday, March 5.

 

Mosher was named Coach of the Year for the sixth time while at Cortland (other times: 1999-00, 2003-04, 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2008-09). She guided Cortland to the SUNYAC championship with a record of 25-3, 17-1. The Red Dragons will face the University of Rochester on Friday, March 5, at Rochester in the opening round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
