SYRACUSE, N.Y. – New Paltz's Kaitlyn Shaw is the SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for the third time this season while teammate Morgan Woolley is the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Shaw led the team to two more wins on the week to help in a historic 8-0 start for the program. Shaw was the catalyst in a 22-5 rout of Manhattanville, setting program records in single-game points (12) and goals (9) while adding three assists with two ground balls and. three draw controls. Shaw totaled a game-high six points in a 15-1 win over Buffalo State Saturday, registering three goals and three assists, while also totaling a game-high five draw controls. She finished the week with 12 goals, six assists for 18 points, two ground balls and eight draw controls.

Woolley led her team defensively in two more wins on the week against Manhattanville and Buffalo State. The Hawks defense allowed six goals total in the two wins and Woolley totaled a team-leading 11 caused turnovers with nine ground balls. In a 22-5 win over Manhattanville, she totaled a game-high five caused turnovers with five ground balls, while registering a team-high six caused turnovers with a game-high four ground balls in a 15-1 win over Buffalo State.
