SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC picks New Paltz's Antonio Vavelle and Geneseo's Alise Hale as this week's Men's and Women's Swimmer of the Week respectively.

Vavelle earned two first-place standings to help the Hawks to a dual-meet victory over visiting Oneonta Saturday. He touched first in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:25.01 and then won the 500 freestyle in a time of 4:58.44.

Hale helped the Knights sweep the Ithaca Tri-Meet on Saturday, earning three first place finishes. Hale won the 100 and 200 yard butterfly with times of 57.01 and 2:08.58, respectively. She also teamed up to help win the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:46.06.
