BUFFALO, N.Y. – The 2024 SUNYAC men's and women's swimming and diving championships finished day two of four, Thursday at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College (ECC). The championship will continue Friday at 10 a.m. See the full schedule here.

Record Breakers

Jake Nielsen, Geneseo, broke the conference record and tied his meet record in the 50 freestyle, 20.18. 

Alex Sotek, Geneseo, broke the conference and meet records in the 50 freestyle, 23.13.

The Geneseo women's 200 freestyle relay team of Alex Sotek, Amaya DiGiovanni, Madi Sargent and Kenzie Fischer, broke the conference record in a time trial, 1:33.73.

Greg Gelinas, Director of Sports Development for the Buffalo/Niagara Sports Commission, presented the SUNYAC, a $2500 check Thursday night in support of bringing the SUNYAC Swimming & Diving Championships to Buffalo.

Every year the Buffalo Niagara Sports Commissioner supports the SUNYAC and its student athletes by providing a financial gift that helps offset costs in holding our Swimming & Diving Championship in the city of Buffalo.
