SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC picks Cortland's JJ DeLawder  as the Baseball Athlete of the Week and Fredonia's Joe Tobia as the Pitcher of the Week.

DeLawder batted .636 (7-for-11) with four doubles, a walk and three RBI in a three-game series at California Lutheran, which is among the others receiving votes section of the D3baseball.com national poll. He went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI on Friday, 2-for-3 with a double and RBI Saturday and 2-for-3 with two doubles and a walk Sunday.

Tobia tossed 6 2/3 innings allowing just one hit in an 8-3 win over Dean on Saturday. He allowed no earned runs, struck out six, and walked three. He started the game off retiring the first 10 batters he faced and allowed just one baserunner through the first six innings of the game.
