CORTLAND, N.Y.- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced the Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week for Field Hockey.

New Paltz's Justine O'Reilly demonstrated her offensive prowess in a big way this week.  The senior forward, originally from West Sayville, netted an impressive eight goals in two games to lead the Hawks to victories in both matchups.  Both wins came against conference foes Geneseo and Brockport. 

Defensively, Oneonta's Danell Jones proved her skill with an excellent week in the net.  The Red Dragons picked up an important win against Geneseo, as Jones made ten saves and allowed just two goals.  This effort included many important stops late in regulation and overtime.
