Berke, Harris and D'Addario Take SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Weekly Honors

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC named Nate Berke from Cortland the first Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the 2023-24 season while Geneseo's Adam Harris was picked as the Goaltender of the Week and Tio D'Addario from Plattsburgh was selected as the Rookie of the Week.

Berke helped Cortland start the season with a pair of non-conference home wins last week, totaling seven points on two goals and five assists with a +5 rating. In a 10-2 victory versus Lebanon Valley on Friday, Berke finished with five points on two goals and three assists and a +4 rating. He then recorded two assists in a 5-2 win versus Wilkes on Saturday.

Harris picked up two wins in goal for the Knights this past weekend. Harris limited Neumann to just one goal and picked up 13 saves, and then against Nazareth he held the Golden Flyers to just two goals on 47 shots faced for 45 saves. He finished the weekend with 58 saves and a save percentage of .951.

D'Addario had a great first weekend of college hockey, scoring two goals and grabbing an assist in the team's two wins. Against Saint Anselm, the first-year forward scored his first career goal against the Hawks in a 6-1 Plattsburgh win. On Saturday at home, D'Addario scored the team's final goal in a 6-3 win and also picked up an assist earlier in the game's action.
