Hanna Corrigan Named Synapse Sports Field Hockey All-American

Cortland sophomore field hockey forward/midfielder Hanna Corrigan (Barneveld/Holland Patent) has been chosen as a 2022 Division III third-team All-American by the website Synapse Sports. 
 
In 16 starts this fall, Corrigan recorded eight goals and nine assists for 25 points. She tied for first on the team in assists and was third in both goals and points. Corrigan scored twice in a win over Brockport, tied the school single-game assist record with four in a victory at Hartwick, and scored a goal in each of Cortland's two SUNYAC playoff games to earn tournament MVP honors. 
 
Cortland finished the season with a 14-5 overall record. The Red Dragons were second in the SUNYAC regular season with a 5-1 mark and posted wins over Oneonta and Geneseo in the conference tournament to claim the league title and an NCAA Division III tournament berth. Cortland lost at MIT in the NCAA opening round and finished tied for 17th nationally.
