CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Ice Hockey Goaltender of the Week, Jimmy Poreda answered our Q&A this week.

Poreda backstopped the Cardinals to a 2-0-0 week to start regular-season and SUNYAC play, posting a .980 save percentage and a 0.50 goals-against average. He posted 29 saves in a 5-1 win over Morrisville State on Friday before posting a 21-save shutout in a 3-0 victory over the Mustangs on Saturday. Poreda currently leads the SUNYAC in save percentage (.980) and is second in the conference in goals-against average (0.50).

5.    What is your career goal post college? NCAA head hockey coach

6.    What's on your music playlist? A lot of Bruce Springsteen

7.    Do you have any pre-game rituals? Soccer, juggle tennis balls

8.    What's the best advice anyone has given you? "Be the best version of you that you can be"

9.    What are your hobbies off the field/court? Hanging out with my brother & watching sports

10.  What's your favorite memory since playing for your institution? When we shutout Oswego on their senior night
