SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC selects its first Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the 2023-24 season. Geneseo's Rachel Hirschkind is the Track Athlete while Cortland's Danielle Fisk is the Field Athlete.

Hirschkind took first in the 5000m race at the Houghton December classic, posting a facility record time of 16:47.38. Additionally, Hirschkind was on the winning DMR team, who posted a time of 12:38.54 for a facility record.

Fisk was the second best collegiate finisher and the top Division III performer in the high jump at the Cornell Greg Page Relays. She cleared 1.60 meters (5' 3"), which is an AARTFC qualifier and is tied for sixth nationally in Division III as of Sunday evening.
