In a 19-5 victory versus Brockport on Tuesday, he stopped five shots and allowed just three goals in three quarters of play in the cage. In a come-from-behind 14-13 victory against Geneseo on Friday, Esposito allowed five goals against in 22:38 before being replaced midway through the second quarter. He re-entered the game at the 1:38 mark of the third quarter with Cortland trailing, 12-8, and finished the game by making four saves and allowing just one goal as the Red Dragons earned the win. On Sunday, he held Oneonta scoreless for the first 41:46 of the game while recording an assist of his own, finishing with seven saves and letting up just three goals through three quarters. For the season, Esposito has posted a 6-3 record with an 8.41 GAA, 93 saves and a .585 save percentage.
