Hein did not allow a goal in more than 247 minutes of action. He made eight saves in a 1-0 shutout at Alfred on Tuesday. He followed that up with a five-save 2-0 shutout win over Potsdam on Friday, and made six saves without allowing a goal in 67 minutes against Plattsburgh, including stopping a penalty kick. He left the game due to injury after being undercut by a Plattsburgh player who was issued a yellow card on the play. The Bengals went on to win the game 2-1 in overtime.
