Derek Marques, MSOC, Defensive, Oneonta

Marques finished with one goal and one assist for three points while he and the SUNY Oneonta defensive back line shut down their opponents for a pair of SUNYAC shutout wins this week. Marques led the defensive group that limited Cortland to only three shots on goal and found the back of the net in Oneonta's 4-0 win over Cortland. The senior captain then recorded the assist on the game-winner against Potsdam while limiting he and the Red Dragons' defense held the Bears to eight shot attempts in the 2-0 victory.
