Josh Jeffes, Track, Cortland

Jeffes broke the school record in the 400-meter dash with his time of 47.42 seconds at the Widener University Danny Curran Invitational on March 28-29 in Chester, PA. He placed first out of 109 competitors in the event and ranks fourth nationally in Division III as of March 30. The previous school record had stood since 2011.

In addition, Jeffes anchored Cortland's winning 4x400-meter relay team that finished in 3:13.36, which ranks first nationally in Division III as of Sunday night.
