Hannah Wellinger, WSOC, Defensive, New Paltz

Wellinger was key on the Hawks' defensive back line to hold both Oneonta and Oswego scoreless through two games in 3-0 and 4-0 shutouts. Starting at right back in both contests, the junior captain played a full 90 minutes against the Red Dragons Wednesday, helping hold the opposition to just one shot on goal total in the game. Wellinger played all but two minutes in the Hawks' regular season finale against the Lakers Saturday, helping to hold the opposition to two total shots, none of which were on frame, while adding two shots in the game. The Hawks clinched the top seed in the SUNYAC women's soccer tournament.
