Geneseo Wins Third Straight SUNYAC Tennis Title

SUNY Geneseo defeated SUNY New Paltz, 5-1, to reclaim the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Tennis Championship crown Sunday afternoon at the Binghamton Tennis Center. This is the Knights third consecutive SUNYAC tennis title and seventh overall.

Geneseo entered the three-day tournament as the No. 1 seed in the west division and defeated Plattsburgh (east #4) on Friday and Oneonta (east #2) Saturday to advance to the championship match against No. 1 seed in the east division, SUNY New Paltz.

The New Paltz Hawks defeated Oswego (west #4) Friday and Cortland (east #3) Saturday to move on and face Geneseo in the finals.
