Adam Murphy was the top Division-III finisher in a predominantly Division-I field at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational, Saturday, at Penn State. He crossed the 5.2-mile finish line 30th (26:48) in a field of 133 runners and 11 teams that included D-I No. 8 Syracuse, D-I No. 29 Georgetown as well as D-III No. 19 Cortland. The Knights finished sixth in the team standings, ahead of the eighth-place Red Dragons.
