Leaf Raking Project

Each fall, student-athletes across the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) go out into their communities to help rake leaves for the elderly residents and those in need of help cleaning up their yards before the winter. 2017 saw the conference come together to truly embrace this initiative and provide their local communities with much-needed support.  

Special Olympics Partnership

The SUNYAC Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) along with other Division III SAACs started a partnership with Special Olympics in the 2011-12 academic year.  The affiliation between the two organizations is part of an NCAA Division III initiative that was put into place by the Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at the NCAA Convention in January 2011.
