Cortland Wins Fourth Straight SUNYAC Baseball Title

CORTLAND, N.Y. - SUNY Cortland won the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Baseball Championship for the fourth-straight season and 32nd time overall Sunday, in Cortland, N.Y. With the win, Cortland earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
 
The Red Dragons defeated No. 3 Oswego today, 12-5, after defeating both Oneonta and Oswego earlier in the tournament. Senior Mark Palumbo was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player after he earned the win on the mound against Oswego, 4-1, Saturday to advance Cortland into the championship game.
