SUNYAC Represented on CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the 2013 CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams and Individual Scholar All-Americans. The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) was represented by seven swimming and diving women's teams, three men's teams, and 13 individual student-athletes.

Team Scholar All-America Award
The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the semester/quarter of the NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

Individual Scholar All-America Award
The Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimmers and divers, who have achieved a cumulative, or terms, grade point average of 3.5 or higher, for the semester/quarter coinciding with their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships and have qualified for, and competed at the Championship.

The Honorable Mention Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimmers and divers, who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, for the semester or cumulative average, and have achieved a "B" time standard, but have not qualified to compete in their respective national championship. Divers qualify by competing at their respective championship qualifying meets, zones or NCAA preliminary rounds. The athlete's GPA in the semester/quarter coinciding with the NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships determines the honorable mention award.
