SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has recognized Geneseo's Janelle Eckl and Brockport's Sarah Crockett as this week's Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Eckl recorded the seventh fastest time in Division III for the 800 on Saturday at Brockport with a time of 2:17.95. The first-place finish also marked a career-best for Eckl by over three seconds.

Crockett continues to dominate her competition in the throwing events being ranked in the top 20 in Division III in the shot put and weight throw events. At the Winter Welcome Back to Brockport Meet, she took first in the shot put with a distance of 13.11 meters (17^th DIII). Then Crockett recorded a mark of 17.13 meters (11^th DIII) to win the weight throw event.
