BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Brockport defeated New Paltz, 3-1, to capture its first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) volleyball title since 1994, Sunday at home. This is the sixth overall SUNYAC crown for the Golden Eagles and first under head coach Steve Pike.
With the conference championship win, Brockport (33-1) earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III volleyball championship tournament
Brockport senior, Kayla Barber was named the tournament MVP totaling 35 kills, 4 aces and 2 blocks, Saturday and Sunday.
