Cergol repeats as SUNYAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week
CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Geneseo's Grace Cergol as the Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Cergol averaged double-digit kills and digs during a 3-0 week for Geneseo. She led the way with 14 kills to go along with 11 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday before leading a tri-match sweep at Morrisville that included a 17-kill, 18-dig showing opposite Gallaudet, Friday. She currently leads the SUNYAC and ranks sixth in Division III with 4.80 kills per set while also ranking fourth in the league with 4.35 digs per set as well as .50 service aces per set.
