CORTLAND, NY - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected New Paltz's Lindsay Bettke (Pelham, NY) as this week's Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week. 

Bettke went 9 for 22 on the floor, and netted 4 three-pointers out of 12 attempts to score 28 of her team's points in a 75-69 victory over Hartwick.  The junior guard averaged a 54.5 shooting percentage in 36 minutes played, as well as posting 5 rebounds.  With this victory, the Hawks move to 2-1 on the season.  They will face Vassar College this Tuesday in a non-conference matchup at home.
