CORTLAND, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Potsdam forward, Lexi Dean (Schenectady, NY), as the Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week and Oswego goalie, Emma Allen (Syracuse, NY), as the Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Lexi Dean scored the game winning goals for Potsdam in their three one-goal games this week. Her first goal of the week was a double-overtime game winner to lift the Bears over SUNY Canton 1-0, recorded one goal and one assist in the 3-2 victory against Fredonia and notched another overtime goal as they beat Buffalo state 1-0, their first win against the Bengals since 2001. The freshman's huge weekend gave Potsdam their first SUNYAC playoff appearance in the programs 31-year history.

Oswego's Emma Allen stopped thirteen shots and posted a .929 save percentage during the Lakers 1-1 weekend that included a huge 1-0 upset over unbeaten and nationally eighth-ranked Geneseo. The Knights were relentless on offense but were no match for Allen as she recorded ten saves in the shutout victory.
