Junior goalie Cory Banwaree of The College at Brockport Men’s Lacrosse team has been named the SUNYAC Goalie of the Week after earning his first career victory for the Golden Eagles. Plattsburgh's Joe Kramer has been named the Player of the Week for the week.

Banwaree earned his first career victory as the Golden Eagles defeated Alfred University 10-3 on Saturday. The junior played all 60 minutes and made 17 saves on the day. Last week against Morrisville, Banwaree made 10 saves in 60 minutes in a 10-8 loss to the Mustangs. In the two games of the season, Banwaree posted a .675 save percentage.

Kramer contributed 11 points to help the Cardinals to a 2-0 weekend to open the 2012 season. On Friday, Kramer scored a career-high six goals and added an assist in Plattsburgh’s 19-3 win at Maritime. He followed up that performance with three goals and an assist Sunday in a 10-8 victory at Farmingdale State.
