SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has named Brockport's Paul Suflita the Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week while Chris Kaszynski from Buffalo State was named the Field Athlete of the Week.

Suflita paced three top five finishers for Brockport at RIT in the 3000-meter steeplechase event. He took first place in the event with a time of 9:32.04.

Kaszynski had an excellent performance at the UB Spring Opener on Saturday, breaking the school record in the pole vault. The sophomore business major cleared a height of 4.75 meters on his third attempt at the mark for the school record. It is also the second-best mark in the conference, third-best mark in the region, and 11th-best mark in the country this season.
