ONEONTA, N.Y. - Geneseo took home the 2023 SUNYAC men's outdoor track and field championship with 239 points, Saturday at Oneonta's All College Track and Field. This is their fifth-straight and 10th overall SUNYAC men's outdoor track and field title. Cortland finished second while Brockport was third.

Awards

The SUNYAC Most Valuable Performer is awarded to the athlete with the most combined points at the SUNYAC two-day championship meet. This year, with 28 points, Nick Andrews earned this recognition. The Most Outstanding Performance will be voted on by the coaches and announced next week. 

The All-Conference first, second and third teams consist of the top three finishers in each event.

Elite 20

The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. This year there is a three-way tie with Plattsburgh's Noah Bonesteel and Aidan Masten and Cortland's Ryan Joule all maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Bonesteel is a sophomore majoring in art studio, Masten is a adolescence education major in his senior year and Joule is a sophomore exercise science major.
