The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has announced the 2013 WBCA Division III Coaches’ All-America Team. Geneseo senior guard Melissa Graham (East Orchard/Mount Mercy) has been recognized as WBCA Division III Coaches’ All-America Team Honorable Mention.
Graham was named to D3hoops.com’s East Region All-Star Team, she was the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Year and earned first-team all-conference honors. She was also a first-team pick to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate NY All-Star Team, where she was the only SUNYAC player named to the first team.
Graham led the Knights in scoring (12.1 ppg), assists (3.0 apg) and steals (1.3 spg) while pulling down 8.1 rpg and blocking 28 shots (both second on the team). She ranked in the top 10 in the SUNYAC in five categories: second in assist/turnover ratio (1.4), third in rebounding, fourth in assists, eighth in blocked shots and ninth in scoring.
