SUNYAC Releases PrestoSports Women's Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) selects Oswego teammates Julia Lamb (Mexico, N.Y.) and Meghan Maquet (Long Beach, N.Y.) as this week's PrestoSports Women's Swimming and Diving recipients.

Senior Lamb won three events in helping the Oswego Lakers improve to 4-1 on the season with a 168-125 dual meet victory over Brockport. Lamb won the 1,000-yard free (11:42:25), the 500-yard free (5:39.67), and swam as part of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay team.

Senior Maquet of the Oswego Lakers won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in the team's dual meet this weekend versus Brockport. Maquet put up 228.5 points in a 20-point victory on the 1-meter board and 226.45 for a 25-point margin from 3-meters. In dual meet action, the Long Beach, N.Y. native has won seven of the eight events in which she has competed. Oswego returns to action after the holidays with an appearance in the Snow Flurries Invitational hosted by Cortland on December 6&7.
