Laferriere and Haberlack Recognized as SUNYAC Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Oswego's Jayna Laferriere is the SUNYAC Women's Swimmer of the Week and Cortland's Alyssa Haberlack is the Diver of the Week for the week ending November 3.
In the second meet of the season against Clarkson, Laferriere finished first overall in the women's 200 yard freestyle (2:02.14), first in the women's 50 yard freestyle (25.86), first in the women's 100 yard freestyle (55.81), and part of the first place relay in the women's 200 yard freestyle. She was a major part of the Oswego women's swim and dive team securing a win on Saturday 182-114.
Haberlack posted the top scores in both diving events during Cortland's home dual-meet win versus Alfred State Saturday. As an exhibition entry (due to the team score), she recorded scores of 222.38 points on the 1-meter board and 220.05 points on the 3-meter board.
