
Cortland Wins 2025 SUNYAC-AMCC Women's Swimming & Diving Championship
BUFFALO, N.Y. - Cortland was crowned the overall women's team champion at the SUNYAC-AMCC swimming and diving championships, Saturday at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College (ECC). The Red Dragons were the top team across both SUNYAC and AMCC teams with 927 points. Penn State Behrend finished second and Oswego was third. This is the first year the SUNYAC hosted a combined championship with the AMCC.

Grace Mowatt Award - Leah Bernhardt, Cortland
The James Fulton and Grace Mowatt Awards are given annually to a senior male and female swimmer/diver based on the following criteria: All America honors, All-SUNYAC honors, improvement throughout collegiate career and academic achievement. Grace Mowatt was an associate professor of Physical Education and the women's swimming and diving coach for 30 years at Oswego before retiring in 1993. In 1996 she won the Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton one mile ocean swim for her age group. (First award given in 1996-97).
