Cortland Volleyball Captures Third-Consecutive SUNYAC Title

SUNY Cortland takes the 2012 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Volleyball title for the third-consecutive year after a win against Buffalo State, 3-0, Sunday at the Sports Arena in Buffalo.

This is Cortland’s sixth SUNYAC Championship under head coach Pam Hoerup and 19th overall.

With the win, Nationally No. 17-ranked Cortland earns an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Cortland senior Natalie Zacpal was named the SUNYAC Volleyball Tournament Most Valuable Player.
