Harwich MA- Oswego beat Keystone 2 to 0 to go 2-0 in the New England regional. A night after scoring thirteen runs the Laker's where held to just two runs. Tonight the Laker's pitching was the key to their victory.
Oswego's Robert Donnelly threw a masterful complete game shutout. Throwing 132 pitches with 6 strikeouts. Donnelly worked through many jams on his way to a shutout.
The game was scoreless tell the bottom of the fifth when Zach Whelan drove in Eli Holton with a single to right field. The Laker's added an insurance run when Brandon Nicholson scored on a Keystone fielding error off the bat of Mike Dellicarri.
Oswego will advance to play UMass-Boston in a winner's bracket game at 4:30 pm tomorrow. Winner of this game will advance to the regional final.
