SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland's Austin Grunder has been named the SUNYAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Grunder averaged 28.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in three Cortland home victories. He opened the week Tuesday with 29 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in an 87-82 win over Scranton, avenging a 33-point loss to Royals from the previous season. He scored 25 points, dished out a season-high seven assists, blocked three shots and grabbed five rebounds in an 87-62 win over Fredonia on Friday, and the following afternoon scored 32 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in a 102-59 victory over Buffalo State. The senior forward/guard is now ranked second at Cortland in both career scoring (1,422) and rebounding (807) in three seasons.
