SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Brandon Seagar Jr., from Potsdam, has been named the SUNYAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 12.

Segar  helped the Bears to a 2-0 weekend sweep of Buffalo State and Fredonia averaging 19.5 points and 10 rebounds in those games. Segar had a near triple-double performance against Buffalo State on Friday evening registering 15 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists. Segar then posted a 24 point and eight rebound performance on Saturday versus SUNY Fredonia. Segar's double-double on Friday evening was his 11th of the season in 22 games played for the Bears.
