Cortland captures 2015 SUNYAC men's lacrosse crown

CORTLAND, N.Y. - Host and top seeded Cortland captured its 23rd overall State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's lacrosse title, Saturday in Cortland. The Red Dragons outlasted second seeded Plattsburgh, 14-12, to take the automatic bid into the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

Senior Benjamin Dunlavey scored a game-high five points on three goals and two assists for the Red Dragons. Senior goalie Scott Tota registered 10 saves for Cortland. 

Senior Jack Felter led Plattsburgh with three goals and one assist while junior goalie Matt Massaria turned aside 16 shots for Plattsburgh.
